* Submitting an application does not guarantee enrollment at Broward Virtual School. Students must meet criteria for full-time enrollment in order to be accepted.

Important notes:

  • Accepted students will be contacted via e-mail to attend BVS student Orientation/Registration sessions.

  • Students new to the Broward County Public School system must bring the necessary items needed for registration.  Those items can be found at http://www.browardschools.com/info/register.htm

  • Applicants currently enrolled and receiving services in an Exceptional Student Education program (ESE):

Broward County School Board Policy 4001.1 states, “students with disabilities shall be provided equal access to programs, benefits, activities and services available to those students without disabilities, when they meet the essential eligibility requirements for receipt of those programs and services.” As a franchise of Florida Virtual School, Broward Virtual School is considered a “school of choice.” By enrolling in a school of choice, your child’s Individual Education Plan (IEP) becomes inactive. This means that the special education or related services which were provided to your child at his or her previous school of enrollment will not be provided to him / her at Broward Virtual School. Please utilize this information to make appropriate academic placement choices for your student for this school year and beyond.
